Haley Geary Honored During National Nurses Week [GALLERY]

Haley Geary is a nursing instructor for University of Louisville as well as a RN on the Rehabilitation floor for Owensboro Health. She's making a difference in the lives of her students and patients every single day. #Hero

This week we are honoring the best and brightest nurses in the tri-state, based on your nominations. Shouldn't we all thank a nurse that impacts our community every single day and in the most important way? Here at WBKR, we say yes. Yes we should! We've teamed up with Madisonville Garage Doors to do just that.

"Haley Geary MSRN is a nursing instructor for University of Louisville as well as a RN on the Rehabilitation floor for Owensboro Health. Upon completion of her Master’s in Nursing Education Haley found the only career that could ever give her the level of personal satisfaction as nursing, teaching future nurses. The same care, love, dedication, and understanding she showed to her patients and their families is now being given to each of the next generation of nurses that have the honor of learning from her. Any student that has had the opportunity to learn from Haley would say the same things as any patient or family member that have been in her care. She really does love to help, she’s always there to listen, and after a few seconds you know that she does genuinely care."
