It's time to check your cabinets, pantries, and refrigerators. There are eight new Food Safety Recalls that have been issued this week.
I regularly monitor the latest product recalls in order to keep you up to date and informed. Whether it's the latest coffee pods recalled because of potential ink contamination or eggs linked to a salmonella outbreak, if it is impacting Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee, I'm going to tell you about it.
What You Need to Watch Out For
There have been several Food Safety Recalls released over the past week. From possible metal contamination to undeclared allergens, lead and cadmium contaminations, and listeria risks, there were eight food products recalled between July 26, 2025, and August 1, 2025, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the USDA.

Why These Recalls Matter for the Midwest
These recalled products are commonly found in Midwest grocery and retail stores, and aren’t limited to obscure items you’ve never heard of. Some come from household brands you likely trust and may even use every day. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly a routine grocery run can turn into a serious health concern if you’re not staying vigilant.
