Illinois Ranks Among America’s Biggest UFO Hotspots

There’s just something about Illinois residents and UFOs. It’s like, we love to see them, or at least report we’ve seen them very often.

I just saw that Illinois landed in the top 10 among American states that report on UFO sightings.

Personally, I have never seen one before, or at least, I don’t think I have. Sure, I’ve seen lights and things in the sky, but those could always be explained. I have not once seen something floating that made me think “UFO!”

I think I’d like to believe that there are UFOs, but then again, I’m not sure I could handle the truth, just saying.

Airport Traffic or Extraterrestrials? Chicago Leads the State in Reports

Anyway, Chicago is the city in Illinois where the most UFO reports come from, and it shouldn’t be a surprise, considering the city is massive and home to two of the biggest and busiest airports in America. Just the arrival and departure of so many planes could lead to UFO reports.

Chicago logged just under 500 reported UFO sightings, Tinley Park ranked second with 165.

Rockford Ranks Third for UFO Sightings in Illinois

If you were wondering where Rockford ranked on the list of the cities with the most reported UFO sightings in Illinois, the Forest City clocked in third with 138.
