If you cruised through Garvin Park anytime between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, chances are you felt some holiday magic - and now we know just how big that magic really was. Easterseals Rehabilitation Center has announced details of what was an incredibly successful season for the 2025 Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights, and Evansville showed up in a big way.

A Record Breaking Year For A Beloved Tradition

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the 32nd annual event raised a record-breaking net total of nearly $240,000. Every single one of those dollars stays right here at home, helping fund early education for children of all abilities and essential therapy services for children and adults with disabilities across the Tri-State.

A By The Numbers Look At This Year’s Impact

More than 12,700 vehicles drove through the holiday light display, including over 1,000 horse-drawn carriage rides that made the experience extra magical. Visitors also went above and beyond at the ticket booths, donating an additional $24,733 on top of regular admission. And let’s not forget the more than 90 dazzling light displays, each made possible by generous sponsors from our community.

More Than Three Decades Of Giving Back

Zooming out, the impact is even more powerful. Over 32 years, Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights has now raised more than $4.9 million, helping Easterseals serve nearly 5,000 individuals throughout southwestern Indiana, southern Illinois, and western Kentucky. Those funds make it possible to provide vital services on a sliding fee scale, regardless of someone’s financial situation or insurance status.

Plans are underway for the 33rd annual Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights, with new displays, refreshed favorites, and sponsorship opportunities coming soon. Mark your calendar: opening night will once again be Thanksgiving night, running through New Year’s Day.
