Owensboro Dog Rescue Transport a Success [PHOTOS]

What a week it has been for these 23 beautiful pups! They left the DC Animal Shelter to start a new life in New York. These lives were saved today and it's all thanks to YOU.

This is what happens when a community comes together for our furry friends! At noon today (5/17/2019), 23 pups from the Daviess County Animal Hospital arrived in New York. Suzanne Hardison & Jeremy Matthews made the transport and delivered them safely. They deserve a BIG paws of applause.

When the donation request was made earlier in the week, the community came together in a big way. The $600 that was needed for the transport was raised quickly and these amazing creatures went on the ride of their lives. Literally.

Just look at how happy they are in these photos. I just can't with all of this cuteness! They will be well cared for until they find their fur-ever home. We'll watch for future updates on our new four-legged friends. In the meantime, we can take pride as a community, knowing that we all made a difference!
