You Can Exercise for Free and Get Some “Puppy Therapy” This Week in Owensboro

As the proud dad of three rescue dogs (Yogi, Ellie and Simon), I am loving this news from HOTWORX Studio here in Owensboro. They've teamed up with SPARKY- Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky- for a really fun and relaxing event on Thursday, April 27th.

HOTWORX is hosting a Stress Awareness Event, which is basically an open house for anyone to stop by, check out the studio and enjoy a FREE workout session. Plus, the staff at HOTWORX has come up with a fun way to make the event even more stress-free. It's going to feature puppies! And, those puppies will be available for adoption.

Shealyn Mason, one of the creators of the event, says, "When brainstorming ideas . . . we thought what better way to relieve stress than with puppy therapy?"

Carey Turner, who owns the local HOTWORX franchise, loved the idea and reached out to SPARKY to pitch the idea. SPARKY loved it too and it's going to happen this Thursday from 3pm to 7pm.

In addition to a FREE workout session and some puppy love, the attendees will have the opportunity to win some fun door prizes.  Among those prizes: a FREE month at the HOTWORX Studio, a FREE year-long membership at the Owensboro Botanical Garden, goodies from Buff City Soap and much more.
