Have you always wanted to rescue a dog, but maybe money has been just a bit tight? The Daviess County Animal Shelter is having a special adoption event just for you! They are overcrowded and need to move some precious pups out of the shelter to a perfect home where you and the dog will thrive and be a happy family.

During the event, the adoption fee for the dogs shown below (if still available) is just $25.00 each. Read the bios for each dog BEFORE inquiring to be sure they would be a good fit for your home. Also, submit an adoption application before reaching out to the shelter. If you see that perfect pup, don't wait as it's urgent that they get adopted as soon as possible.

Don't forget that the shelter always needs donations. Beyond monetary donations, you can always drop off dog or cat food. Cat litter, dog beds, food/water dishes, treats, along with towels and blankets. You can always reach out to the shelter to see what's needed the MOST at any given moment.
