It took months to get here, but we finally have a winner in the huge Queen of Hearts jackpot at Trinity High School's Bingo here in Owensboro. Last night, Christy and Tina Brown were the lucky ones!  They were called up to get the opportunity to find the Queen of Hearts and guess what?  They did it. And there were hundreds and hundreds of people on hand to watch and cheer them on.

When last evening's session began, there were just three numbers left on the Queen of Hearts board.  Here's what it looked like.

The numbers 15, 20 and 51 remained.  On Monday night (three nights ago), that jackpot ended the evening at $71,472. Last night, it grew almost $15,000.  IN. A. SINGLE. NIGHT. That shows just how much the excitement had built over the last couple of months as the search for the Queen of Hearts intensified.

In fact, for the last couple of weeks, the crowd at the Opportunity Center Bingo Hall had flirted with capacity. Andrea Aud, the Bingo coordinator for Trinity High, had instituted a BYOC policy- Bring Your Own Chair. The crowd was huge and the anticipation was crazy.

That amplified even further Thursday evening when Christy and Tina stepped to the board.  They did so with a 1 in 3 chance of claiming the big prize.  After all the $1 tickets had been sold, they found themselves playing for their share of $86,309.00- the second biggest jackpot in Trinity High School Bingo history.

They chose #20 and BAM!
