The 83rd Annual Owensboro-Daviess County Christmas Parade was held over the weekend in downtown Owensboro.  While it rained most of the day, Mother Nature gave us a break and hundreds of folks lined 2nd Street to kick off the holiday season.  Our Christmas parade is the first one in the Commonwealth each year and has earned the claim, "Where Kentucky Starts Christmas."  And, for the second year in a row, we teamed up with Owensboro Times and the Parade Committee to bring you all the play-by-play action.

If you were unable to join us downtown, here's your opportunity to watch the parade at your own convenience.  In fact, Owensboro Times is housing the parade broadcast and commentary (courtesy of Dave Spencer, Jane Head and yours truly) on its Facebook page throughout the holiday season.

If you'd like to gather the family around, you can watch it here!  Keep an eye out for your friends, family, neighbors and, oh yeah, the big guy himself . . . SANTA!
