SEE INSIDE: Owensboro’s Penguin Point Restaurant Opening Tuesday [PHOTOS]

Penguin Point, the new restaurant that is taking over the former Captain D's location on Frederica Street here in Owensboro, will be officially open for business on Tuesday, October 13!  Angel here, Chad, myself, and our families got to taste the delicious food this weekend and y'all are gonna love it.

Penguin Point, which specializes in chicken, burgers, and tenderloins, was founded way back in 1950. Since that time, it has expanded considerably (to three states) and has claimed fame for two of its sandwiches.  First, here's a commercial for a sandwich that put the restaurant chain on the map- their Tenderloin Sandwich!

Currently, there are seventeen Penguin Point locations in Indiana, North Carolina, and Kentucky.
