Comedian Gilbert Esquivel to Headline Stand-Up For Families Show

At the end of November, the Daniel Pitino Shelter is hosting Stand-Up For Families, a benefit comedy show. This is a chance to not only have a fun night out, but to change lives in the process.

I serve on the board of directors at the Daniel Pitino Shelter, and I see firsthand the difference they make in our community. We would be in a world of hurt without them and the other amazing organizations that work day in and out to help folks help themselves out of unfortunate situations.

Comedian Gilbert Esquivel Coming to Owensboro

Consider this your invitation: "Join us for Stand Up for Families, a hilarious night of clean, side-splitting comedy benefiting the families we serve at the Daniel Pitino Shelter. We are honored to have Mr. Gilbert Esquivel with us, all the way from California, to help make a difference in the lives of so many deserving local people."

Here is a preview to warm up those funny bones!

Local comedians will be opening for him too, so you'll get to laugh with some familiar faces. Jeff Jones, Jennifer Richardson, and Forrest Clark are gonna get the party starty and warm up the mic. You never know, I may get brave and hop up there to tell a few jokes, too!

We'll also have Heavy Hors d'oeuvres from Lure and cocktails! Here are the details:
