What the world needs now is love and a whole lot of inspiration.  Well, we found it in one sweet fur baby named Stevie the Wonder dog and he is taking social media by four-legs and a big ole' wiggle!

Stevie puddle danced onto the social media scene in 2020.  What perfect timing.  His owner began sharing videos of Stevie enjoying life.

This sweet boy handles life in a bit of a different way than other dogs.  He is a 5-year-old lab that has Cerebellar Hypoplasia.  It is a condition that affects animals where the cerebellum of the brain doesn't develop correctly.  It is not a painful or contagious disease.  Noticeable effects are trouble balancing, problems with fine motor skills, and a struggle with coordination.  John Austin our friend from SPARKY has a sweet pup with the same condition.

Sadly, there is no known cure but the silver lining of the disease does not get worse as time goes on.  Stevie has no clue he has a special need.  He makes the most of each day by making a splash.  You have to watch some of the videos.  I promise if you are having a bad day they will turn that frown upside down.

What I love most about Stevie is he is a rescue.  His owner, Jane Cornelius, watched him go from foster home to foster home then finally one day she decided she needed him as much as he needed her.

Rescues are the very best.  If you are in a position to foster or adopt the shelters are full and SPARKY always has amazing pups looking for a FUREVER home.
