Seeing that it's almost October, no really, it's about time to start thinking about all the upcoming holidays. Yes, this includes Christmas and all the decorating that goes along with it. If you are a Daviess County native and/or resident, check out the newest ornament.

The Big Dipper is an Owensboro icon, but some of you may not realize JUST how long it's been here.

Fall smells are in the air and that includes Big Dipper's world-famous (to those of us who have had it) chili. Both Chad and I have seen posts on social media telling of the delicious arrival.

Our own roving reporter, Barb Birgy, broke the news in the spring of 2019, the Big Dipper here in Owensboro did not serve their world-famous (to those of us who have had it) chili year-round.  Well, good news for chili lovers... Angel here and I remember working at Burns Middle School each Fall we would have a Chili cookoff...

It is National Cheeseburger Day and I am celebrating by updating my list of the Top Five Cheeseburgers in the WBKR listening area!  Now, I realize this list is subjective and may spark some debate.  As a matter of fact, I have been debating myself.  LOL!.  But, if I am going to grab a cheeseburger somewhere, chances are I am going to hit up one of the places on this list.  Here we go!
