The Kitty Hawk Flyer Looks Maybe Dangerous? [VIDEO]
It's 2017 and I think a flying car is way overdue. It just so happens there is one that wil be sold later this year. Now, hold on, you have to the see the Kitty Hawk "flying car" to believe it.
Disclaimer: The scenario/set-up in this video is extremely cheesy, but don't let it distract you. I was laughing out loud to be honest.
So, is this a flying jet ski? The description says it is "safe, tested, and legal to operate in the United States in uncongested areas under the Ultralight category of FAA regulations." I think a substantial kite to take this thing out or vice versa. The scariest claim is one does not need a pilot's license to operate it. NOPE! I have zero knowledge of aviation, but I would think a little bit more than five seconds of training would be warranted to operate this thing.
Does it look fun in the video/scenario above? Of course, but I don't think we'll see one going down the bypass anytime soon. What would Wilbur and Orville Wright say?
