The We've Got Talent Too Contest at the Opportunity Center

My heart is full. Honestly, I am sure that goes for the hearts of every single person who spent time Wednesday at The Opportunity Center in Owensboro. The "OC" and eight other local agencies that provide services for clients with developmental disabilities teamed up for an epic talent show called We've Got Talent Too! The participating agencies were Active Day, Bridges of Kentucky, Commonwealth Connections, GRADSA, Puzzle Pieces, Strategic Partnerships, To The Max, and the Wendell Foster Center. Each had contestants competing on stage in the show.

Of course, any talent contest has to have a distinguished panel of judges and We've Got Talent Too certainly did. They were Amy Staves (AP Case Management), Carltez Hampton (H.L. Neblett Community Center), Chase Luckett (Kentucky Farm Bureau), Kim Johnson (Special Olympics Kentucky), LeAnne Musick (Musick Studios), Michael Gray (Owensboro Parks & Recreation), and Rachelle Johnson (BHG Realty).

The first ever We've Got Talent Too contest was a huge success with the participants and the crowd. Plans are already underway for the 2025 edition! I personally can't wait to cheer, laugh, cry and celebrate again.
