What’s Cookin’? Easy Crock-Pot Barbecue Chicken [Recipe]
About a month ago, Kentucky Legal Aid hosted a yard party here at the WBKR studios. And, while they were here, they brought along some copies of their cookbook called You've Been Served. The book is full of simple and delicious dishes and I have tried out of a few of them . . . including this recipe. Check out Connie H. Rhea's recipe for Easy Crock-Pot Barbecue Chicken.
EASY CROCK-POT BARBECUE CHICKEN
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Place chicken breasts in crock-pot. Combine BBQ sauce, vinegar, pepper flakes, brown sugar and garlic powder. Pour mixture over chicken. Cook on low for four to six hours.
If you'd like a copy of Kentucky Legal Aid's cookbook, visit their office at 117 W 2nd St or call 270-683-4585. Copies of You've Been Served are $10 cash or check.
