Owensboro/Daviess County will have a nighttime warming shelter available Monday through Thursday night this week.  The National Weather Service says conditions merit a White Flag Event due to wind chill factors near and below zero degrees.

The forecast calls for a drastic drop in temperature overnight.  With air temperature/wind chill values expected to be near or below zero, homeless shelters in the area are asked to place a white flag on their facility's exterior door, which shall publicly convey that extra bed space may be available.

Hours 8:00 a.m-7:00 p.m. Meals are available at this location with the meal schedule as follows: Breakfast (8:00 a.m.) Lunch (11:00 a.m.) Dinner (5:30 p.m.)  If bed space is unavailable, you may visit . . .
