Holiday World’s Summer Finale: Drone Shows, Wine Fests, Night Rides & FREE Tickets

Though the summer season is currently winding down at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, there is still plenty of time to enjoy the park. In fact, you have one more week to head over to Santa Claus, Indiana and catch the Holidays in the Sky drone show, which officially wraps for the season on Monday, August 3rd.

The day after Holidays in the Sky wraps up, Holiday World will launch its 2nd Annual Summer Wine'd Down Culinary Festival. Just a couple of days ago, park officials unveiled some of the special menu items they're going to be serving up.

Plus, later in the month, Holiday World is bringing back one of my personal favorite events- Friday Night Live! From August 21st through October 30th, Holiday World will open the park from 5pm to 10pm CST on Fridays, giving you plenty of opportunities to ride some of their most thrilling attractions- like The Voyage and Thunderbird- in the dark.

Take it from me (a self-professed Voyage professional), night rides on that coaster are INSANE. Pro tip- ride it once in the backseat, then ride it again in the front seat. You'll thank me after you've recovered.
