Cannonball! Holiday World Officially Announces New Water Coaster

Over the past year, Holiday World & Splashin' Safari has been teasing something new in the works. Even though it is fenced in, if you are like us, you've been watching the former Raging Rapids space like a hawk. All signs point to a new water ride.

You immediately noticed the painted flip-flops, you have combed the TownofBoulderCanyon.com official website for Easter Eggs, and you are Mr. Craig's top follower on his Facebook account. You were TOTALLY bummed when the TOTALLY REAL Boulder Canyon Music Festival was cancelled this week. Dangit! I was looking forward to Olivia Rockrigo!

Today is the day we have all been waiting for. As part of the festivities for the 37th Annual Cannonball Competition, Holiday World has announced that the new ride coming in 2027 is going to be a return to Boulder Canyon called Cannonball! If you missed it, here is the reveal!

It will be the first of its kind in the Midwest when the first riders load up in 2027. There is still plenty of fun to be had in the meantime!
