So the kids are out for summer and now they're in the house eating the food and dirtying the towels. If they're anything like my kids it's in the pool for an hour and then through the house with their muddy little piggies and grassy ankles. So let me ask you the obvious question........ Need a break?

Good news moms and dads! The Malco Summer film fest is on and it is raising thousands for St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital and giving you an affordable option when entertaining the kiddos. It's an incredible way to help kids and parents in need. (And it's air conditioned) Tickets are just two dollars per person and the movie selection is awesome.  The Malco film fest starts June 7th and includes such titles as "Kung Fu Panda", "Shrek Forever After", "Charlotte's Web", "Marmaduke", "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", "Madagascar: Escape to Africa", "How to Train Your Dragon", and "Monsters VS. Aliens." This will be year number twelve for the annual event that to date has raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude and entertained countless kiddos. I take the kids to several showings every year and they always look forward to it. It's nice to know you're not just getting out of the house and enjoying family time but you are also giving life saving  hope and care  to children and families all over the world. Of course I'm probably a little partial to St. Jude because of our yearly radiothon...that makes me cry on air every year. I'm a basket case for days. Don't forget to follow the link http://www.malco.com/index.php?page=owensboro for a list of shows and times. Print out the schedule and hang it on the fridge!
