If you're like me, you're sad that the NFL season has come to an end. Football is easily my favorite sport and lucky for me I can keep watching it, right here in my backyard! Ok, not exactly my back yard, but right here in Owensboro!

The Owensboro Rage (Continental Indoor Football League) are rolling into their regular season pretty strong! They got their second pre-season victory over the 2012 Semi-Pro BCS National Champion Runners up the Nashville Storm 34 to 29, Friday, January 31st.

The Rage was lead by former University of Louisville and NFL Quarterback Hunter Cantwell. On Defense Tim Wharton had three interceptions with one returned for a touchdown.

The Owensboro Rage will open the Continental Indoor Football League regular season Friday night against the Kentucky Drillers at the Next Level Sports Facility. The gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with kick-off set for 7:00 p.m. Adult tickets are $12.50 online, $15.00 at the door, and Kids 10 and under for $7.00.

Let's all get on our purple (Hey! It worked for the Ravens, right?!?) and cheer on our hometown team! Goooooo Rage!!
