Taylor’s Tavern Hosting Fundraiser for Shaun Winstead on Saturday

Taylor's Tavern is hosting a fundraiser Saturday for Shaun Winstead.  The 37-year-old Owensboro man was recently diagnosed with an incredibly rare form of lymphoma and is just beginning an aggressive chemotherapy treatment that will last nearly eight months.His friends and family are rallying to his side Saturday and invite you to help.

That's Shaun, his fiance Amber (who is a part of the WBKR family) and their daughter, Taylor.

Taylor's is hosting a HUGE fundraiser Saturday, February 13th to help out the family.  There's a $5 cover change, but that includes a plate lunch served up by Shaun's friends, who will be cooking for the cause.  There will also be $2 domestic bottles (with one dollar from each sold donated to the family).

In addition to plate lunch and beer specials, there will be whole chickens sold for $10 (pickup is at Taylor's from 1pm to 3pm).  There will be a silent auction from 11am to 7pm and there are dozens of great items up for bid like tickets to The Grand Ole Opry, tickets to see Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy and more!  And there will be live entertainment from Elliott Sublett, Insulated and many more. And, of course, since it's Saturday, there will be coverage of the UK Basketball game.
