The Josh Merritt Band Wins Battle for the Big O [Video]

They came.  They sang.  And they conquered!  The Josh Merritt Band of Owensboro have been crowned the champions of the 2014 Battle for the Big O presented by Henderson Chevy Buick GMC!  And here’s the big crowning moment caught on video!

Congratulations to The Josh Merritt Band! They snagged $1,000 and the right to open the 2014 Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest, Saturday, August 16th at Reid’s Orchard.  And here’s a little taste of how Josh and his band earned the top prize.  Check out their version of Garth Brooks’ “Standing Outside the Fire!”

And congrats to Kennedy McCollam, Riley Roth and Joe Gatton for placing second.  And kudos to The Kyle Whitaker Band and Brandy Neelly and the Branch Water Boys for tying for 3rd!
