It made nearly $150,000,000 at the box office.  It won the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy.  It was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won three: Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Sound Mixing and Best Supporting Actress (Anne Hathaway).  And, now, Les Miserables is being released to DVD! And to pay tribute to the musical and movie, Jaclyn, Barb Birgy and I took the stage at Theatre Workshop's Opryhouse to bring some of our favorite songs from Les Miz to life.  WATCH!

In our short film (surely to be nominated for a 2014 Academy Award for Best Short Film, right?) Jaclyn portrays the lovelorn and heartbroken Eponine and belts out the classic "On My Own."  I play the war-torn and heartbroken revolutionary Marius and perform the song "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables."  And Barb . . . in a style only she can . . . portrays the heartbroken and devastated factory-worker-turned-prostitute Fantine and belts out . . . in a style only she can . . . the gut-wrenching "I Dreamed a Dream."

Enjoy as WBKR, in conjunction with Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, proudly presents Les Miserables by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg.
