Imagine a world where the days, not the nights last longer. Kentucky may become the next state to make Daylight Savings Time permanent.

A bill has been pre-filed by Representatives Bart Rowland (R) and Brandon Reed (R) for consideration during next year's General Assembly. Currently, Daylight Savings Time begins in March and ends in November.

As with other similar bills being filed in other states, Congress has to pass a federal law that would allow those states to observe "springing forward" all year-round.
