Cooker of Deliciousness Fuels St. Jude Radiothon With Fire Fried Bologna
Matt Ramsey has lots of redeeming qualities, but I gotta be honest, one of his best is that when he's around, good food is sure to follow. He never arrives empty-handed. When he stopped into the studio in December, he came bearing snacks and baked goods.
Smart man! We got to chatting, and the St. Jude Radiothon came up in conversation. I told him about how we are on air for 12 hours straight for two days, raising money to end childhood cancer. He immediately said, "Let me feed y'all!" Say less!
The recipes he shares on his social media pages are fantastic. They are made with quality ingredients, easy to make for busy schedules, and absolutely DELICIOUS. "I tell my daughter I'm not the Cooker of Mediocrity, I'm the Cooker of Deliciousness," Matt shared. That's his account handle, which has more than probably FOUR MILLION people across all platforms.
Before his current gig in the kitchen, he was in the ER and Cardiac Cath Lab from 2001-2023 as a tech and nurse. We can all thank his friend and co-worker Matthew Peach for encouraging him to start making videos to share with the people. His first video that took off, funny enough, was deep-fried pizza rolls with garlic butter, herbs, and parmesan.

Matt dove all in and now cooks every day. He works with various partnerships and is involved in the community, raising money for worthy causes. Like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He did a fantastic job this morning on the Radiothon talking about the hospital and why it is important to become a Partner in Hope.
He didn't just bring us breakfast sandwiches that rocked our worlds; he rocked his Partner goal for the hour. We also got to scheme and dream about future ways to raise money to continue the life-saving mission of finding cures and saving children. You can join Matt and the rest of our St. Jude family by calling 1-800-201-8883, or you can text the word "HOPE" to 88388
Finally, I gotta share this bad boy he brought us. OK, so first of all, this thing is MASSIVE. The croissant bread is made into French toast that he soaked in ICE CREAM as part of the custard. Loaded up with soft scrambled eggs, SMOKED FRIED BOLOGNA, white cheddar, and a Maple aioli.
It was HEAVENLY! Seriously, genius-level flavor combos, and it fueled the team for another day of the 2026 WBKR Window World St. Jude Radiothon. Oh my gosh. If you love bologna, this is gonna make you veryyyyy happy. Let's cross our fingers he makes a video to show us his magic. Give him a follow here for more great food ideas!
