Friday night at the 2019 Chamber Celebration, more than 700 Chamber members, regional, state leaders, along with the Greater Owensboro Chamber recognized eight local businesses as the 2019 Businesses of the Year. 

-Emerging Business of the Year: Owensboro Family Pharmacy

-Business of the Year 1-10 Employees: Gene's Health Food, Inc.

-Business of the Year 11-50 Employees: Old National Bank

-Business of the Year Over 50 Employees: Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc.

-Non-Profit of the Year: Puzzle Pieces

-Education and Workforce Development Institution of the Year: Brescia University

-Manufacturer of the Year: O.Z. Tyler Distillery

-Rick Kamuf Agri-Business of the Year: Hayden Farms

Other award winners included:

-2018 Chamber Director of the Year: Dave Roberts, UniFirst Corporation

-2018 Leadership Owensboro Class Member of the Year: Brad Youngman, Daviess County Sheriff's Office

-2018 Chamber Member of the Year: Visit Owensboro

-Bill Young Community Leadership Award: Tish-Correa-Osbourne, Girls Inc.
