Facts of Life Star Roughing It on Survivor [VIDEO]

Do you remember that show, The Facts of Life, from the 80s? About the boarding school and the teacher and then four of the students and the teacher bought a delicatessen? Or was it a bakery? Well, whatever, do you remember the show?

Well, anyway, the actress who played Blair on that show--her name is Lisa Whelchel--is a contestant on this season's Survivor. And, apparently, it hasn't been going very well.

It seems she's been feeling left out.

Now, at the beginning of the season, she was really tooting her own horn about how big a fan she was of Survivor and how she'd never missed an episode in 12 years. But, here she is, going off by herself and having a breakdown about being isolated.

First of all, I don't want to make fun of anyone who's feeling bad, but if she knows as much about this show as she claims to know, she should know that it's up to her and her alone NOT to feel isolated, to get in there, play smart, and be a part of the team.

Right now, it doesn't seem as if most of her fellow castaways recognize her. One of them does and we learned that right off the bat. But the rest of them might be too young to remember the show. It's not like it turns up in syndication--and I suppose we can be grateful, no offense.

Anyway, Whelchel, quit whining and buck up. Every man or woman for himself or herself. You're smart and smart wins.
