Hartford Firefighter to be Honored for Saving Lives

Last month, when flooding was at its peak, a mother and her two young children were trapped in high waters in Ohio County. Hartford firefighter Grant Parson jumped to action as soon as he could and his bravery saved the family.

This Thursday (3/15), Grant will be presented the Civilian Life Saving Award on the main floor of the Ohio County Courthouse in Hartford at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Kendra Garner and her two children were recently released from Vanderbilt Hospital.
