MEET JOE WELSH

Angel here and if you have ever met my husband, Joe, you know he is completely quiet and not the type to want to be on a stage, on camera, or on a mic.  He is basically the opposite of me.

Joe loves to be the one behind the curtain making sure everyone else is successful and has a good time and shows up as their best self.  He doesn't like taking credit for things and absolutely hates the spotlight.

This past weekend our daughter, Charlotte, had her very first cheer competition ever and her daddy was in the stands watching intently.  I think more intently than any of us expected.

CUTEST CHEER DAD

During the cheer competition, the cheer teams are judged on cheer motions, cheer chants, and dance routines.

The announcer calls out the motions and then the girls have to do them.

Each team does the exact same motions so you hear them called out over and over again.  You never know if dads are really paying attention, especially when their own child isn't performing but my husband was.

After the competition, we went home to each a late lunch and I was in the kitchen cooking.  I could hear my husband muttering something in the living room and I peek around the corner only to see him doing the cheer moves LOL!

I made him come into the kitchen so I could get a better video and I was almost positive he would tell me to know but he politely obliged and this was the result.

If you get a chance read the comments.  He gets a big A+ for effort.  He loves his little girl and all she does and I know he will be in the stands cheering right along with her as she gets older.

Six Reasons I Love Being A Football Mom In Kentucky

Growing up I never understood the game of football. It only seems appropriate that I would birth three boys and they would all love the game. I'm finally learning I do too.
