Our Yard Party series continues here at the WBKR/WOMI studios this Friday and we're excited to welcome back New Beginnings Sexual Assault Support Services. We've hosted New Beginnings for several years now and they have the yard party down to a science. One reason they do so incredibly well is that they're willing to make deliveries.

This year, the Kentucky Pork Producers have agreed to donate their time and talents and will be grilling burgers on the WBKR lawn. Each $5 box lunch will include a delicious hamburger, chips, snack and a water.

As always, we invite you to come by the WBKR studios at 3301 Frederica Street to have lunch with us.

We'll have tables and tents set up and you can join as we raise money for New Beginnings, which serves hundreds of sexual assault and rape victims here in the region.

The forecast for Friday is looking really good.  It's going to be sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80s- the perfect day for a yard party!
