Several Kentucky Museums Will Be Free This Saturday
When was the last time you or your family went to a museum? This Saturday, all around the country, the Smithsonian Magazine is celebrating "Museum Day" which means patrons can get in free. This sounds like a blast.
Kentucky has nineteen museums, historic sites that will be free this Saturday. It's a great list.
Closer to home are two museums in Bowling Green, The Kentucky Museum on the campus of WKU which by the way, is always free, and the Historic Railpark and Museum.
In Louisville, free admission on Saturday for The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Historic Locust Grove, Kentucky Science Center, and the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind (free every day).
Free admission to these Lexington museums includes the American Saddlebred Museum, International Museum of the Horse, and The Aviation Museum of Kentucky.
Also closer to home is the Ben E. Clement Mineral Museum in Marion (Crittenden County).
My personal favorite is The Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville.
See the rest of the Kentucky museums and all the museums around the country with free admission HERE.
