This is my newest Big Game favorite - Shotgun Shells! This is a hearty appetizer that delivers a savory blend of beef and sausage then wrapped in bacon! What's not to LOVE about that combination!
SHOTGUN SHELLS
1 lb lean ground beef
1 lb sweet Italian sausage (casings removed)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
1 7 oz can diced green chilis (drained)
1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ seasoning (Meat Church's Honey Hog BBQ is Patty's fav)
2 8-oz boxes of manicotti shells (dry and uncooked)
4 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce (Patty uses Patti's BBQ or Sweet Baby Rays)
1 lb bacon
