Knottsville, Kentucky Teenager Launches Baseball Hat Fundraiser for St. Jude

Gavin Howard and his family have been raising money for St. Jude for about ten years now. Their grand total so far- over $50,000 and counting.  Quickly!  They have become staples of the annual WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon and their story has inspired so many people in Owensboro/Daviess County and beyond.  Gavin's even been featured nationally by ALSAC, the fundraising arm for St. Jude. He's a true St. Jude hero!

And while they've already done so much amazing work for the kids of St. Jude and the mission of the hospital, they continue to outdo themselves. In fact, the Howard family just announced the official "Save the Date" for the 2nd annual concert fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's Saturday, November 5th.  Like last year, the event will feature food, fellowship, fundraisers and fantastic live music. They are currently working to secure some great local talent for the show and the lineup will be announced in the coming months.

They just announced this fundraiser as well! For years now, Gavin and his family have sold St. Jude t-shirts.  They've made a heckuva lot of money doing it too. For a little change of scenery this year, they've decided to replace shirts with some St. Jude "Heroes Wear Gold" hats.
