Trinity High School and St. Mary’s Hosting Annual Penny War for St. Jude
The WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon is coming up this Thursday and Friday. And we are pumped about the fact that Trinity High School (and St. Mary's) are again hosting a Penny War to help raise money for the event. These students are fundraising machines and they've been collecting pennies for a couple of weeks now. The drive officially ends this Wednesday (Feb 5th) and we are expecting big things from them. Here's why. Last year, they absolutely blew our minds!
In 2019, the kids raised $3,800!!
Here's a photo from St. Mary of the Woods' presentation.
And here's Whitesville Trinity's donation presentation from last year as well.
So, this year, they're at it again! In addition to collecting pennies, Gavin Howard also asked Mary Carrico School, Trinity and St Mary's to host a "Dollar Dress Down Day". Each school did that as well.
So, tune into the WBKR/Window World St. Jude Radiothon WBKR's Barb Birgy will be live on location Friday morning at 9am with the big reveal for 2020.
