WKU Owensboro Chapter Offering Ghost Tour Trip to Bowling Green
Okay, I've shared with you before that I lived in at least two supposedly haunted dorms at WKU, McLean Hall and Florence-Schneider Hall. Yes, the faucet in my suite bathroom would randomly be running and the windows would be raised by themselves. Now's your chance to check out all the legends and ghosts at Western.
This coming Sunday (10/27), the WKU Owensboro Alumni Chapter will be taking a road trip to the main campus in Bowling Green for a ghost tour. You don't have to be a member to go.
Here's a brief story on some of the ghosts that haunt the Hill.
Running water, I told you. It should be noted Barnes-Campbell will soon be demolished to make room for the new First Year Village which will open in the Fall of 2021. Tamela Smith, featured in the video, will be your tour guide. She appeared on the A&E series Ghost Hunters when the crew came to visit campus a couple of years ago.
If you want to go, register HERE and you also have the option of driving to Bowling Green yourself. It's $10 dollars per person for the round trip and $5 per person if you drive. The bus will depart from the GRITS office on St. Elizabeth Street at 4:30 p.m.
Happy Haunting!
