I was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. I began my Country Radio career at KLLL in Lubbock, TX. Some of the places I have lived and played Country music on the radio include Kansas City, Louisville, Nashville and many other ports over the years. I have programmed some legendary stations: WDAF, Kansas City, WHN, New York City; WSM, Nashville and KVOO, Tulsa. None has been as much fun as WBKR right here in Owensboro. I enjoy fine scotch and wine. I love Major League Baseball and my team of choice is the New York Yankees. I exercise regularly at Health Park and listen to my music collection while doing so. My wife, Debra and I watch some Bravo TV shows and from time to time i make her watch an old Sopranos DVD or an episode of Mad Men.

Tax Code Changes in Kentucky – Is It Time?
In listening to Glenn Beck, heard daily on 1490 WOMI, I hear him brag and brag about living in Texas now where there is no state income tax. What he never mentions is there is a huge tax on food, something we don't have in Kentucky. While it won't touch the food tax, Govenor Steve Beshear is presenting some Tax Code changes to the Kentucky legislature that they will review tomorrow.

Glenn Beck’s New Sponsor – The Gun Box [VIDEO]
I was listening to Glenn Beck Monday morning and his new sponsor, The Gun Box, caught my ear. I mean, it's great to have a weapon in the house -- 2nd Amendment, you know, but - many fear the self-inflicted wound. So, I heard Glenn mention the Gun Box. I did some searching and found more info.
How Moon Spent Super Bowl Sunday
There is one film about the Super Bowl and I spent Sunday afternoon watching it. Black Sunday, one of my all-time favorites There are so many reasons I like this flick, not the least of which is it stars Robert Shaw, one of our greatest actors who passed away way too early at the age of 51 just two years after completing Black Sunday.
