We've all seen the videos by now... millions of people dumping buckets of ice water on their heads, participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge. I'm sure that some of you have too. ALS is a nasty disease. If you've never been affected by it, consider yourself lucky. My friend Amy's Dad passed away from ALS and she challenged Chad and myself to help spread awareness about ALS. Without blinking, I accepted for both of us naturally, ha!

So, without further ado... this one's for you Larry!

Now, as fun as it is to watch and participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge, let's talk money. That's what this is all for right? To raise awareness and research dollars toward ALS. So far, nearly $23 million has been raised through the Ice Bucket Challenge... that's amazing!! But, where did this come from? Who started it all? Watch this great video which aired on Sportscenter about Pete Frates, who was only 27 when he was diagnosed with ALS. I encourage you to watch this, not to make you cry or feel bad, but to get a glimpse at what ALS is and what it does to the body.

And, of course, please donate. Sure, watching our favorite musicians, athletes and friends and family dump ice water on their heads is fun, but let's not forget what this is all about... awareness. So, if you'd like more information or to donate, click HERE.

Oh... we get to nominate others to participate as well, so... Wayne Hart, Tabnie Dozier, Leslie Morgan and Eric Cornish, you've got 24 hours!
