The BATTLE FOR THE BIG O is underway!  And Saturday night at Taylor's Tavern in Owensboro, two acts fought their way into the finale, Saturday, July 23rd at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre.  The first was Nick Cheek of Fordsville, who took the stage with his guitar and wowed the judges with "Wagon Wheel" and an original song.  Nick finished first at the Taylor's audition and earned his shot at $500 and the chance to open The Big O Music Fest, Saturday, July 30th at Reids Orchard, where he could open for Dierks Bentley, Chris Young, Colt Ford, Jake Owen, David Nail, Steve Holy and Sarah Darling.  See what you think!!  We caught Nick's encore on video!  If you think you have the talent to TAKE THE STAGE, check out the official rules of the contest and upcoming audition locations at www.wbkr.com/the-battle-for-the-big-o/!
