Here in western Kentucky and southern Indiana we are finally saying "Adios!" to Winter Storm Blair. However, Arctic cold temperatures and more snow are on the way.

The National Weather Service in Paducah is warning residents in western Kentucky, southern Indiana, and southern Illinois that there is increasing likelihood that a significant winter storm is going to impact the region Sunday and Monday.

The annual Frymire Forecast predicted the first significant 2024 snowstorm in Kentucky for the middle week of January. If the current forecast models hold true, that just may happen.

I only wish I was kidding.  A day after we had temperatures in the 70's and an outbreak of severe weather, we are now facing a chance of sleet and snow.  Yes, I know it's April.  But, get ready!  A dose of winter could return in a couple of days.
