The Daviess County Public Schools district is hosting an action-packed Opening Day program at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, in the Apollo High School gym. The school is located at 2280 Tamarack Road. The entire staff and faculty of the DCPS district will be in attendance at this event.

The Daviess County Public Schools district has extended registration for children who will begin preschool or kindergarten beginning in August 2011. Parents may register students between 7:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. weekdays through June 2.
