Western Kentucky Car Show Raises Record-Breaking $61,000 for St. Jude
The 3rd Annual Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show rolled into Owensboro and absolutely delivered. Hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars, jeeps, and bikes filled the streets, turning the day into a full-blown celebration of horsepower and heritage. Between the great food, live music, and rows of beautiful machines, there was something for families, gearheads, and casual fans alike. It was a great day for car lovers, and an even better day for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Bluegrass Legends Experience Brings the Car Community Together
Did you make it out to the Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show last summer? If you did, you know it was one for the books. More than 1,000 car lovers of all ages packed Moreland Park and the Owensboro Sportscenter for a full day of classic cars, food trucks, vendors, and swap-meet treasures. And while last year’s event is still being talked about, Jimmie and Janie Rhoades of Bluegrass Biker News are already hard at work putting the pieces together for this year’s show. If the buzz is any indication, the excitement is only getting started.
Sue Henderson Joins Radiothon for St. Jude Check Presentation
Sue Henderson, the National Ambassador for St. Jude, has raised nearly one million dollars for the hospital over the past 15 years, making a huge impact on kids and families at St. Jude. Her dedication is inspiring! She gives her time, her talents, and her heart to the cause. Sue is one of my favorite people, and with the help of Bluegrass Biker News and so many amazing volunteers, the support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is incredible. Working alongside her is always a highlight of my year, and we were thrilled to have her join us for this year’s St. Jude Radiothon!
2025 Bluegrass Legends Car Show Drives $61,000 to St. Jude
Jimmy, Janie, and Sue made a special stop at the St. Jude Radiothon to present a generous check from the Bluegrass Legends Experience and Bluegrass Biker News. Their passion for helping others, especially the kids at St. Jude, shines through in everything they do. They really get the power of giving back!
Between the Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show and the St. Jude Fall Festival, the community came together to raise an incredible $61,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. That support will go a long way in helping the hospital continue its life-saving work. It’s amazing to see everyone pitching in for such a great cause, and events like these make a big difference in the lives of children and families. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed and helped make these events a success!
