Jordan Winders is an Owensboro "transplant". Jordan moved to the Owensboro area 10 years ago from the Ft. Campbell area. Jordan has a passion for music in all forms, and even does a little performing from time to time. He has been around music since he was able to walk and decided to pursue a degree in Music Business from Kentucky Wesleyan College. While there he continued his passion of music, but also discovered new passions: production and radio. After spending about a year at the college radio station he came to WBKR part-time. Jordan also decided to pursue a graduate degree from Full Sail University in Entertainment Business which he completed in 2012. He is now full time with WBKR as the Production Director. When he's not working on production in the studio he can usually be found practicing the latest techniques in music and audio editing, catching a new movie, or watching his favorite football time, the New England Patriots.

I Wish I Was in the Land of Football – Kentucky Needs an NFL Team!
When people ask me where I live, and I tell them "Kentucky," the first thing that always pops out of their mouth is, "Oh, WILDCATS!" This drives me up a wall! I am NOT a fan of the Wildcats (no offense to anyone who is) and I am kind of tired of everyone equating Kentucky with UK, bourbon and horse racing...

Tuesday Afternoon Laugh: Minions Banana Song
I saw Moon's post earlier and it reminded me of a clip. While watching TV this weekend I saw a movie trailer for Despicable Me 2 that I hadn't seen before. And it stuck in my head. It featured the minions from Despicable Me doing their "version" of "Barbara Ann"...
Unbelievable Dance Contestant
Before I left for lunch today Roxi, our great receptionist, was telling me about a video that a friend had shared with her. it was a contestant on a talent show. Normally I enjoy when people share these videos because on several occasions they have been either the best of the show or the worst of the show (I am not much of a fan of the middle of the road videos)...
Super Symbolism
As some of you may know, I am a huge Superman fan. From comics to TV shows to movies, I like all things Superman. I think it is a mix of the storyline/fantasy element and the symbolism.
This past weekend the newest Superman film, “Man of Steel” opened, and of course I had to see it...
